This championship game was close throughout the hole game, with both teams not allowing runs early on. The game was tight through 5 innings of play, but then No glove no love made there move, and pulled away with little time to be caught. There were lots of great bunts and defensive plays by both teams making it apparent why these teams survived the longest to play in the chipper. It was a great game by both teams!!
No Glove No Love bounced back after missing the first week of play by playing two games, splitting them with one win and one loss. Despite the result in the latter game, No Glove No Love battled hard and had one of the coolest plays of the season. In the top of the third in their game against Leny's Regulars, it was 0-0. I commented to the lead-off hitter Kris Olsen that a scoreless game after two innings was pretty unusual in kickball. He replied, saying that he was about to change that. Sure enough, Kris kicked a long one into the outfield and sped around the bases for a home-run!
