Huge shout out to Ashley Rietman and her leadership. She got to take the cake and eat it too! After a few hard seasons Balls in Your Face came through with a big win over Tall Pauls Balls. And it was worth the wait: t-shirts were handed out and they will wear them with pride. Great pitching by Jeff and killer offense by the whole team.
This weeks player of the week goes to Tien Truong of "Balls in your Face". In the tightest game of the night, Tien came through with the big kick. The game was tied after regulation play, but in the 8th inning Tien hit the winning RBI in, and Balls in your face advances to the semi's. Great job Tien!
Fran's 3rd base play was absolutely amazing. She was spot on with outs and catches. 4 line drives straight to her, and they were all caught! In a close game with Marinerds she kept the hope alive and made it so the team could have a 'from behind' win!!! Team effort and stellar-ness from Fran!!
