Winter Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

Both Future Basic and the Super WookieZ got the championship by showing off their great offenses, but defense is what wins championships. The first half saw both defenses step up and slow down the high powered offenses. By half time there were only three scores with FutureBasic leading 14-7. The second half was more of the same, neither team could score until late in the second half when the SuperWookieZ tied it up 14-14. That influenced FutureBacic's offense to get in shape and quickly answer. This set up a drive with minutes for the game by the SuperWookieZ. They made it all the way to the three yard line with and a 4th and goal gender play. Super WookieZ Christine Chan, who already scored once and was playing on a hurt leg, ended up the target of the pass to win the game. The defense of FutureBasic held and the pass went by Christine's outstretched hands. Defense wins championships.
