Notes

First Place

Late Fall Gentlemens Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

Despite a perfect 6-0 record entering the playoffs, KTOWN was slotted as the second seed as there was one other team with an unblemished record, DeSmet's Disciples. Throughout the playoffs it seemed inevitable, these two powerhouses would have to clash, and they did. In the championship game.

The first half of the title bout was about as close as you could get, with KTOWN clinging to a two-point lead. Down the stretch with the title in their sights is when Blake and his crew pulled away. Connecting on four second-half touchdowns, the offense built a lead that could not be overcome. What a game! What a season!!

Congrats go out to KTOWN for pulling off the dream season. Here's to the champions!!

Tuesday, January 19

Blake Cook

KTOWN

The playoffs bring out some electric performances, but none was better than Blake 's on Tuesday. As he led his KTOWN squad to another championship, the strong-armed quarterback launched a total of 14 touchdown passes over two games. Whether it be pinpoint lasers or long bombs, whatever Blake threw out there seemed to find the end zone. Congrats to Blake and the entire KTOWN crew, you are 2016 Underdog Champions!

Tuesday, December 15

Jason Hallerman

KTOWN

Jason ran away with the honors this week with his incredible receiving abilities. Jason literally played like he was a young Randy Moss out there just looking smooth with no pass being too big for him. It didn't matter what kind of coverage you played on him, he was coming down with it no matter what. Give it up to the best receiver in this league!
