History

It all started when QB Marcus Mariota received his first letter into Hogwarts. Being from a muggle family his parents were concerned about him being treated unfairly going into the school year. Marcus had high hopes for being drafted into Gryffindor but also had his eye on Hufflepuff. During the ceremony Marcus ended up being nominated into Ravenclar. Marcus furious of this decision ran away from Hogwarts and decided to create his own team of magic. Here listed on his team are his recruits to create havoc, sorcery, witchcraft, and chaos amongst other teams. Who needs quidditch when you can play co ed flagfootball.

Keanen earns this week's Player of the Week award for his outstanding defensive performance. He did what no one in NFL history had accomplished, picking off 5 (yes, 5!) passes and returning 2 for TD's. If he's on the waiver wire, my Fantasy team sure could use IDP production like that. Good luck next week in the championship!

Chris Hoy makes the magic happen

This week I had no question that there was a player who stood out the most. Chris played a strong game with his new team. His skill, determination to make a play, and spirit kept Wingardiaum Mariota in control the whole game. I don't know what charms he placed or what spells he used but there was something magical about Chris and his performance tonight. Congratulations and may the butterbeer be sweet and may the troll forever stay in the dungeon.

It isn't very often that one play earns someone Player of the Week nominations, but what Ann-Marie did on Monday night is one of those once-in-a-lifetime plays. Already providing relentless pressure all game, Ann-Marie rushed the QB, deflected a pass that somehow wound up back in the QB's hands, and grabbed the flag for a 10 yard loss. Did I mention it was 4th down? Ann-Marie had all the moves in helping her team to a 48-32 victory. Congrats!
