Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Golden Gardens Thursdays

Time out! We must take a moment to acknowledge this week's Player of the Week, Darek of Zack Attack! With hard hitting and strategically placed serves, Darek not only saved his team from the bell, but also defeat. He delivered a winning match for his team, and proved that this gang from Bayside can not only sing classic songs about friendship, but also win volleyball matches. Well done, preppy! Time in!

This week we honor John Duong of Over the Top as our Player of the Week! John's killer serves gave his team the momentum they needed to breeze past the competition. He was all over the court making influential plays and took over the game! Nice work John, you made your opponents eat sand!

Multiple Scoregasms hits the ball over the net, Adam sees where the ball is going and realizes it might be too late to get there. Oh wait, Adam dives face first into the sand giving it his best effort to get the ball up but he comes back up with a face full of sand and a point for the other team. In the midst of his embarassment he precedes to run into the water to wash his face off and trips again!! What a night! Adam sure deserves an A for effort this week and player of the week for being such a good sport while giving everyone some entertainment for the night!

Under the Bottom did a terrific job of having a positive attitude and willingness to put something together even though they did not have an oponent. Mimi did a great job of hitting. She came early to practice her hits and it all panned out in the end. She improved her hitting tramendously. Great job MIMI.
