The Stanny Young Alumni took a big 1st inning lead and really never looked back. They opened the 1st with a 3 run HR and continued with a 2 run double, ending up with a 10 run opening inning. Ball me Maybe mounted a valiant comeback effort tin the 4th and 5th, notching 8 runs and coming within 6 with 2 innings left. If not for some timely add-on runs and superb late-inning defense by the Alumni, this game could have easily swung the other way. A well deserved and hard earned win for their first kickball championship.
