BDA, Blue Balls of Death - Indy #1, Lionel Richie, Starbucks
POTW: Peter Marsh
Kick Tease
Peter displayed his kickball capabilities with a couple monster kicks to drive in runs and some stifling defense at third base.
He backed up his game with high spirits for his teammates!
Can't Touch This!, Kick Tease, Pirates Don't Cry - Anchor QEA, Third Base is Overrated
POTW: Joe Janacek
Starbucks
Joe gave his team 110% at this first game of the Spring season.
From catcher, he showed cat-like reflexes and shutdown his opponents bunting game. On offense he opened his season with a homerun and following it by a triple next time up.
Instant offense and defense...good chemistry!
This weeks player of the week goes to Lindsay Stewart of "Third Base is Overrated". She pitched a great game, and also directed the troops in the field to where the plays needed to be made. She was a fearless leader, and dialed in on the strike-zone. Great job Lindsay!

POTW: Lauren Berett
Kick Tease
Lauren showed off her athletic prowess with a diving/rolling catch late in the game that helped end a rally and lift Kick Tease to victory. great catch lauren.
Trisha dashed Blue Balls' imminent twelve run comeback Wednesday night, turning a quick, game-ending double play on a rope to short, single handedly preserving BDA's narrow victory.
BDA, Kick Tease, Lionel Richie, Third Base is Overrated
POTW: Ben Inadomi
Starbucks
Ben had a great game. He had a home run that flew over the heads of the outfielders. If only he was as good on defense. From right field he had a kick that he was trying to send home that he shanked and sent into the dugout...great game anyways Ben.
BDA, Can't Touch This!, Kick Tease, Third Base is Overrated
POTW: Katrina Vickerman
Pirates Don't Cry - Anchor QEA
Katrina was absolutely amazing on both offense and defense. On offense her bunts were just about perfect. But she really came out to shine on defense. She caught more than half of the outs for her team (not exaggerating) including multiple athletic catches.
BDA, Blue Balls of Death - Indy #1, Lionel Richie, Starbucks
POTW: Robert Gliege
Third Base is Overrated
Bob had an awesome day for kickball. Playing as pitcher, he showed no mercy showing his skill in getting the out. Especially when he put a cold hearted stop to the guy running for home! OH, and no big that he also got 2 out of the 5 runs for his team. What a guy!
Can't Touch This!, Kick Tease, Pirates Don't Cry - Anchor QEA, Third Base is Overrated
POTW: Adam Wright
Lionel Richie
Adam did a great job on wednesday. His molasses slow pitching psyched out many batters and caused lots of outs. But the play that makes him player of the week was on offense. Adam had just rounded second base and was on the way to third with an infielder about to peg him with the ball. He dodged the ball and then proceeded to fall over. While trying to to get back up he dodged the ball again with the ball narrowly missing him through his legs. After that dodge he fell down again until he eventually crawled his way to 3rd and made it safely. great job Adam.
Blue Balls of Death - Indy #1, Can't Touch This!, Pirates Don't Cry - Anchor QEA, Starbucks
POTW: Stephanie Adams
Third Base is Overrated
Stephanie had a great game on both offense and defense. On offense she had a great play where she slid in under a tag at 3rd base to extend the inning (and get a cut on her leg). On defense she had an amazing line drive catch on a ball that was way above her head. Great game Stephanie

POTW: Amanda Shellenberger
Pirates Don't Cry - Anchor QEA
Amanda had a great playoff game. Her soccer skills were coming out. She had two kicks, one from the pitchers mound and one from third base, that resulted in outs! Instead of throwing it, Amanda booted it, with absolute accuracy, to her teammates resulting in outs both times.
Dina Had a great week in starbucks 2 games. She had some great plays on offense including a play at first that broke her sunglasses. On defense she was rock solid and had lots of catches and put outs.
Joe showed them who was boss! He had 3 RBI's, awesome diving catches, and made the final clutch play of the day by tagging a guy out on his way to home. Joe does it all.
