Spring Gentlemens Flag Football at Juantia HS Tuesdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Luke McGinnis of the Freeballers. On opening night of the league Luke racked up 3 TD's to help his team bring down a very tough opponent. It was high flying offense and the freeballers lead the charge putting 45 points up! Great job Luke!

This weeks honors go to Colin Olivers of "4W4L", for his performance in a very close game. He helped his team put points on the board with a TD, and punctuated it with a PAT. On defense he also brought down a INT, to help seal the deal in a 6 point game! Great job Colin!

This weeks plaeyr of the week goes to Austin of "Chauncey Biggerstein". In a intense matchup, Austin lead his team on offense, with great passing, and also great rushes. He crossed the goal line plenty even if it was called back due to flags being out of place, he is this weeks player of the week! Great job Austin!

This past Tuesday, the Replacements walked a tightrope all night long in two narrow victories. Leading the way throughout was their quarterback, Brent Clark. In two games, Brent threw eight touchdown passes and came through with a huge defensive play late in their second victory of the night, giving his team one last chance to pull off a comeback. Despite injuring his ankle on the play, Clark recovered long enough to lead one final touchdown drive by throwing a 30 yard touchdown pass with seven seconds left on the clock. But that wasn't the end of things. After last weeks last second loss on a "Hail-Mary" pass on their game's final play, The Replacements had to hold their breath one final time by exorcising the demons of last week. As it turned out, the final pass was defended well and knocked down and The Replacements moved on to the final week of the playoffs.
