99 Problems, but a Beach Ain't One!, Notorious D.I.G.

Bulk Fr8

The first ones on the beach and the last ones off the beach! Bulk Fr8 had a double header this week and they were the only team that had showed up with plenty of time to warm up. When the first team they were scheduled to play didn't show up Bulk Fr8 kept there spirits high and embraced the rainy beach. Eager for the double header the team stayed and played two full hours of fun beach volleyball. Hopefully throughout the season the other teams will have the same enthusiasm for their doubles headers as team Bulk Gr8!!

Mike was very friendly and the first person to arrive for their double header tonight!! He got some extra serving and serve receive practice in before their games and it paid off! He ended up serving like a beast all night! Great job Mike and keep up the good work! :)

Not only one or two, but several "Moon Ball" serves put Teddy Spicer as Player of the week! With tricky and still precise serves he guaranteed his team a great victory tonight. If you'll face Teddy next week, make sure you bring your sunglasses, because you'll be looking high to get his ball.Great Job and keep it up! MOON BALL!!!

David is a very respectable and friendly guy! He introduced himself and his team. They had some friends come and cheer him on as well as bringing some BBQ! David did a good job encouraging teammates and having fun regardless of the score. Thanks for being so positive!!

Notorious D.I.G.

Even though Notorious D.I.G. were unable to snag the title in the finals they did put up a hell of match in the semi-finals. With both games being close Chris and his team needed to make big plays to keep them in the game and keep the lead. Chris was great at this and in every position! He was able to dive to keep a ball alive and smash a hit to end a point. Chris and his team were able to win the first two games to advance to the finals! Great work this week Chris!
