Spring Co-ed Softball at Magnolia Sundays

Ahhhh, there's nothing like the Opening Day of Underdog Softball season in Seattle! And it wouldn't be Springtime in Seattle without a constant drizzle and a chance to play in the mud. Yep, a perfect Opening Day! Speaking of perfect Opening Days, nobody had a more perfect day than Blain A of Caught Looking. Blain was a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate including a deep 3 run homerun blast to lead his team to an 8-4 win! Not only that, but Blain flashed the leather on the final play of the game as he completely laid out on a diving catch in left field to rob the other team of any chance of a rally and added an exclamation point to Caught Looking's victory! Congratulations Blain A, week 1's Player of the Week!!!

Kathy put up an offense show Sunday, helping lead her team to a convincing victory. Kathy not only racked up a couple of run scoring doubles, she also cleared the outfielders' heads earning her first career home run. All in all, Kathy ended the day with 3 hits and 4 RBIs earning herself Player of the Week honors!!

Bre showed her skills on defense and at the plate in a very entertaining and close game. With the other team rallying, the defense needed a big play to get off the field. That play was a 6-4-3 double-play turned brilliantly by Bre at second base. Her mad skills at second kept the Dugouts in the game.

Showing that she's not just a defensive gem, Bre also provided key hits throughout the afternoon session, which helped Dugouts secure the 3-run victory.
