Fall Gentlemens Flag Football at Seattle Center Saturdays

This week in the Gentlemens flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the player of the week is Tim Bolla of the Indy team. In the second game of a double header against El Diablo Tim showed he still had plenty of energy rushing the quarterback and laying on the pressure. He had 2 sacks and 3 deflected passes. In addition he also caught a touchdown pass and and extra point attempt to help his team win 21-7. Good job Tim!

This Saturday in the Gentlemans flag football league at Memorial Stadium the player of the week is Jason Shumaker from the Angora Sweaters. Jason was a key part of the Angora Sweater's team effort in defeating El Diablo 39-21. Jason played well on both sides of the ball, accumulating 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in a night that had near perfect weather. Great job Jason!

Vijay helped is team out on both sides of the ball. He contributed on offense by catching a late TD that helped put the game away. His bigger contribution though was on the defensive side of the ball. He pressured the Sasquatch Militia QB all day, ending up with 2 sacks and many more QB pressures.

This weeks player of the week goes to Zach Gray, who was everywhere on the field. He pulled in numerous catches throughout the day, and had 3 of them in the championship game! He also had a couple of interceptions during the day. If the ball was anywhere neat him, he reeled it in. Great job Zach, and great job to Sasquatch Militia.
