The Usual Suspects
Well it was nothing but rain, rain and more rain for the opening day of the co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays, but that didn't get anyone's spirits down, least of all Danielle Franklin of the Usual Suspects, who earned this weeks Player of the Week. It was Danielle's first ever game playing flag football with Underdog and she proved herself to be a natural! She made a great catch and run to score the Usual Suspects' first touchdown of the season (and her first TD/catch) and also had a big 4th down catch in the 2nd half. Great job Danielle!

This week in the co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the player of the week is Ty Secfridge of Third String. Ty had a huge game on defense against Fresh Off the Bench with three total interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. Ty also had another touchdown catch on offense, scoring half of his teams 40 points to get the victory. Great job Ty!

This week's player of the week for the Co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturday is Trevor Rose from We Blitz on the First Date. It seemed like Trevor couldn't drop a pass this Saturday, and that includes when he was on defense. He had 3 interceptions and 2 touchdown catches, including an amazing one handed catch in the endzone surrounded by defenders. He definitely played a very big role in his teams win over Blackrock Urban Achievers 36-19. Great job Trevor!

This week in the co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the player of the week is Johnny Lopez from Number 1 Stunnas. It was a beautiful day outside and both teams played great, but Johnny brought his best defensive game to match up against the Seagoats. He had 3 interceptions at key moments to end the opposing teams drives. Thanks to Johnny's great defense the Number 1 Stunnas were able to win over the Seagoats 20-12. Good job Johnny!

Well we continued to be blessed with beautiful weather this Saturday for the Co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium (knock on wood). The player of the week this week is Ashley Fisk from Zamboni. Ashley had an awesome game full of big plays on offense. She caught 2 touchdown passes and also threw the game winner in a close win over Hosers 31-28. Great job Ashley, keep it up!

Ashleigh led her team to a huge win over Touchdownasauruses by doing her best Ronnie Brown impression. While we're not exactly sure that they were running the Wildcat offense, Ashleigh started out the game running the ball and catching multiple screen passes. She would later line up behind center, confusing the defense. With the defense thoroughly confused, she would go on to throw two touchdown passes.
