Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Sundays

Mr. LaBarge put together a very entertaining performance.
He started the game with a base clearing home run to get his "HO" teammates into a frenzy that continued to the last out.
Balky would have been proud on Fletch's 2nd kick as he used a very unorthodox style of sliding to complete a triple.
On defense, his signature fist pump and rebel yell after recording outs could be heard from the deep corners of Greenlake.
But his most entertaining value came from his off balance running style...I believe his teammate categorized it best as "yep, that's Crazy-Legs Fletch!" as he pulled a splits maneuver to stay alive on the basepath.

Fletch LaBarge did it all on Sunday- and then some. Fletch was a one man wrecking crew during Habitual Offenders' double header. First, there were heroics, as Fletch kicked a walk off 2 run HR for a come from behind victory to win their first game. Then, Fletch moved on to padding his Fantasy Stats in game two, kicking for the Cycle, and adding 7 RKIs. Originally thought to be a late round sleeper, we advise you to now pick up LaBarge on the waiver wire as soon as possible.

Brandon Larson gets this weeks POTW almost by default. Not to downplay Brandon's effort- he did have a grand slam and some good fielding- but he was just one of many all-stars on a day when his team Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves racked up 43 total runs over two games of a double header. First the Gypsies had the game of the day; a high-scoring yet close win (a rarity) over Jiminy Kickit 17-16. This game had so many lead changes and runs scored, that we would have lost count if we weren't, well...counting. Then, the Gypsies continued to roll over Still Kicking with a 26-11 victory. Surely, a dominant day if we've ever seen one. Congratulations to Brandon and all of Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves.
