Fall Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Tuesdays

Congrats to Tony Rapp from the Empty Pitchers for earning this week's Player of the Week. Tony, who normally defends at third, played outstanding defense at shortstop making diving plays and catching clutch rally killing line drives. With the combination of Tony's excellent defense and his offensive threat with his speed and bat, helped the Empty Pitchers defeat a good team in the Swinging Sword Wreckers! Congratulations Tony for a well played game!!!

Drew had a great day at the plate hitting a grand slam to lead his team to victory in a tight game. All in all he went 3 for 3 at the plate with 6 RBI in a one run win. He also played solid "D" in the field with a few stellar web gems. It was a great win for the Wreckas. Good job Drew.

Aaron went 4/4 and hit for the cycle and scored 4 runs. he did all this while only getting 1 RBI because every time he was up to bat there was no one on base. great game aaron.

Kelly had an amazing week. in his 3 games he had 5 HRs including one to take the lead in the 7th, a ridiculous amount of RBIs as well as doing an amazing job in the field. Kelly had what was hands down the best play of the week. In the bottom of the 7th his team was up one run with one out and a runner on 3rd. the ball was popped up to him in left field for the second out. the runner tagged from 3rd and kelly hurled the ball home to beat the runner and get the third and final out of the game.
