Whammy Time
The summer playoffs for Underdog Kickball in Everett were extremely fun and competitive this season. From the first game of the evening to the last, all teams were having a great time trying to advance towards the finals. When the dust had settled it was the #1 seed Green Peppers facing off against the #2 seed Whammy Time. The Championship game was very fast paced due to some great defense on both sides of the ball, but in the end it was Whammy Time with some very very well placed kicks and aggressive baserunning that helped them take the lead for good. Jason VanHollenbeck of Whammy Time had 2 triples on his own and provided enough firepower on his own to make his mark in the final 8-2 victory! Congrats to Whammy Time, League Champs! Also, big congrats to Jason VanHollenbeck, Player Of The Week!!!
