While Week 1 didn't give the Statdog an answer to the question "Who's Barry Badrinath?", it did show that the team "Who's Barry Badrinath?" is a force to be reckoned with. Their 33-21 victory was impressive on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Leading the way was Bobby Brown, who was a difference maker, by catching two key touchdown recieptions.
When you have a hand in every touchdown your team scores, you make a key interception, and you throw the game winning touchdown pass on fourth down with 9 seconds left, you are more than likely going to get some consideration for Player of the Week. Hence the reason Ricky Hyson has been awarded with POTW for Week 2. Ricky's leadership was the reason Now I'm Done! was able to squeak out a 27-21 victory.
The Statdog is actually not known for rewarding great stats, and usually looks more for the intangibles. However, in this particular case, the stats are so overwhelming that Trevor Johnson must be rewarded. Trevor had 6 touchdown passes to go with one touchdown run, and all of them were needed in a 46-39 victory.
There are times when a player does something so extraordinary, that they make you want to redefine a word. In this particular case, it was Graham Sheldon who made the Statdog want to find a new meaning for the woed "Heart". It was Graham's guts, determination, toughness, and overall heart that pulled the Silly Midgets through on Thursday night. Late in the second half, Graham sustained a nose injury that looked like it would knock him out of the game but Graham refused to be denied, as he led the game winning drive which culminated with a touchdown pass with less than a minute to go.
It was an important win for Team Kamnetz as Zack Cunningham led the way by throwing a long touchdown pass right down the middle that was key in a 44-28 victory.
On Thursday night, the Talladega Knights were able to finish the season on a high note taking home a 33-26 victory. The Knights were able to hold off Who's Barry Badrinath? thanks to the constant QB pressure administered by Blake Hamamoto. Blake was constantly disrupting quarterback Trevor Johnson and holding the dangerous scrambler in check.

POTW: Nick Foley
Team Kamnetz
For those who read this section often, you all know how much the Statdog likes to give out props for great defense. On Thursday there was no bigger defensive play made than the one by Nick Foley, who had the game clinching pass deflection that was the difference between victory and defeat for Team Kamnetz in a 33-30 upset win over Who's Barry Badrinath?
Early in the second half of He Hate Me's semifinal victory, the team started to click and never looked back. One of the reasons they started to click was under the inspiration of Robbie Davis, who had two touchdowns in the second half and led the way to the championship. His teammates looked to his leadership to guide them through the tough times, and Robbie delivered the goods.
