Late Fall Softcore Volleyball at First Baptist Thursdays

Congrats John!! This guy was full of energy and skill tonight. Digging hits left and right whilst throwing down the hammer up at the net. With serves of steel, his opponents grew wary and intimidation rose with every point. In an intense double header, John lead Cabbage Patch Digs to a victory against the admirable One Hit Wonders. Sweet way to end the night. Awesome job John and the rest of the Cabbage Patch Digs!!

Holy Guacamole! This weeks player of the week was Pedro Fernandez! Pedro was nothing but smiles when he walked into the gym. He was ready to play and was really happy while playing, win or lose he was having fun. He had some pretty serves, passes, kills, and saves. He really helped his team when they needed him to. It shows really good character when a team is winning or losing and they can still be uplifting, encouraging, and just having fun. That is exactly what is means to be a true Underdog competitor and what makes it enjoyable to be a player or spectator. Great job again Pedro and keep up the great work!!

What a great job to the whole team Cabbage Patch Digs, but congratulations to this weeks player of the week Jason Santos! Not only did you play one game, not even two, but THREE games this week and man were they all really good games! He really had a lot of heart on the court. It was nice to see you on the court with a smiling face and happy to be playing. His serves, spikes, sets, and digs were all on point! Once again amazing job this week and keep your head high!!
