Ah Beer
Gary S had himself an opening day for the ages! Now pretty much everyone gets excited to play at Lower Woodlands, especially the power hitters who like to take advantage of the short fences...and Gary S did just that, going 3-4 with TWO home runs. His towering home runs and domination in the field left little doubt that ahh beer would get an opening day victory to start the season off right.

Evan Rhead Homers Twice In One Inning
Every year without fail Here For The Beer throws their hats into the ring and all come together in pursuit of that sometimes elusive league title. After tasting a championship a few seasons ago they are hungry for more and look like a lock to win this seasons league title. They are a spirited group of good players and their attitudes on the field are always positive. They have fun, they bring their dogs, their children and friends who come out to support them rain or shine. I have personally witnessed this team go from error prone nobodys to the well oiled machine they put on the field each week. And no, they are not just here for the beer, they are here to win. Great performance Evan and great game Beer!!

Tony Jones Plays Out of His Mind
Wednesday night's 7:30 saw two great teams square off and just plain get after it. Both teams played really well but Tony just played on a different dimension than everyone else all game long. He batted 4 for 4 with a deep bases clearing three run jack along with a triple and two doubles. On defense he was equally impressive covering a lot of ground in the outfield and making every single out within thirty yards. He just flat out got after it and this is a weekly occurrence for a very good and consistent softball player. His speed on defense, his batting, his base running all make him a well rounded player and an asset to his team. This guy definitely needs to get a contract extension. He has definitely mastered his craft and it's a treat to see him and No Pants Party in action. Great win and great game Tony.

Noah Kanter Leads The Way
With the season winding down and some teams already out of the playoff picture, Baby Got Bats are getting stronger and looking to knock off some of the tougher teams. Noah was the spark plug on Wednesday night. He batted 3 for 4 with a double and two singles while batting in five runs.He displayed some awesome defensive skills at third base all game long locking it down completely. Great game Noah and great win Baby Got Bats

No Pants Party Dominates
No Pants Party Dominates
Zach Tracy Pitches Gem
All I can say about NPP is that they are a freight train and no teams should be standing on the tracks right now. Heading for the playoffs they look unbeatable and the challenge is out to any team that thinks they can knock them off in a playoff game. They are seeking to add another title to their resume and they look well on their way to achieving that, Great game NPP and we look forward to seeing you in the big dance.

Buckley's in Belltown
Buckley's in Belltown looked to finish off the regular season on a high note. After a strong first few innings the opposing team came back to narrow the lead. With runners on first and second and two outs, Mark J launched a homerun that soared all the way to the parking lot and hit the top of a parked car. His moonshot put a huge momentum boost in his team, earning Mark J player of the week honors.

Kate's Pub
In a thrilling semi-final game for the ages, Kate's Pub squeaked by No Pants Party by 2 runs. The only reason Kate's was able to move on and eventually win the title was an amazing game saving play by Dominic. With Kate's up 2 in the bottom of the seventh, NPP sent the tying run up to the plate with 2 outs. The batter crushed a fly ball to deep-deep center that had all the making of a 2 run homer. But it was not to be. Dom tracked the fly, never giving up on the play, reached over the fence and grabbed the final out. Absolute thievery! Play of the year!
