The Heismanbergs
The Heismanbergs flexed their defensive muscle in Kirkland this Sunday. Shutting down an experienced TDnA team is no easy feat, but the constant QB pressure by Haley Petersen gave the defense the edge they needed. Besides her 2 QB sacks, Haley had some great coverage on the plays she was asked to drop back. Haley set the tone for her team and led them to an impressive opening day victory!

Back That Pass Up
When playing a doubleheader, sometimes a let down can happen in the second game. Players can get a little tired and winded. Not the case at all for Daniel Pulse, if anything he got better as the night went on. When most players would need a breather, Daniel was busy pulling in 2 INTs with huge return yardage. He kept busy on the offensive side of the ball too, hauling in 2 big TD catches. Impressive Daniel!

Quang Pham
Quang Pham
El Jefe
Sometimes wins are a complete team effort and sometimes one player puts the entire team on their back and wills them to victory. Tonight for El Jefe it was the later. Quang Pham was almost the entire offense by himself, accounting for 4 TDs. Quang also made a big INT late to save the game and secure the victory for El Jefe! Congrats to El Jefe and our POTW Quang!

Kate Gottardi
No Punt Intended
The game started off slow for No Punt Intended, as they fell behind early. That's when they turned to Kate to lock down their defense. She was everywhere on D, grabbing flags, blanketing receivers and knocking passes down. Kate's monster defense was the spark that turned around her teams fortune. Thanks to Kate, No Punt Intended turned a potential loss into an big victory!!

Back That Pass Up
M'ily R. aka Captain, earns this weeks POTW with outstanding catches on both offense and defense. The play that sealed the deal was a pick 6 she made on defense, it also put the game out of reach giving her team a 40 to 28 victory. Great game Coach M'ily.

M'ily Reiter
Back That Pass Up
While her team may not of pulled off the victory, M'ily had without a doubt the greatest acrobatic catch of year. Late in the game, M'ily streaked deep down field catching the attention of her QB. He lofted a pass a few feet past her, looking like a sure in-completion. M'ily was having none of that. She launched her self forward diving for the ball, stuck out one hand and tipped the ball back into her chest. M'ily grabbed the ball with both arms, securing an utterly amazing catch. By far the play of the year!!
