Grape went into last night hungry to assert themselves as the favorite for the Thursday Night League and they did just that. In their double-header they blew past Pack It In 47-34, and then held on for a 33-26 victory over the Hairy Bagels. Sean Eagan made the key play to clinch the second victory with a interception to seal the win.

Sasquatch Militia pulled off the upset on Thursday in a surprising rout over Pack It In. Keith VanEssen led the way for his crew, scoring two touchdowns and getting an interception on defense in the 40-18 rout.

After a rough 0-2 start, Pack It In desperately needed a win in order to right the ship and set the tone for the rest of the season. On Thursday night, new quarterback Mark Stanley stepped in for his crew and had a stellar debut. His four touchdown passes helped lead the way to a much needed 32-12 victory.

Heading into the final night of the regular season, the atmosphere was a little more intense than usual. Teams were vying for playoff positioning, while also seeking to get into top form before the playoffs. One player that distinguished himself was Jake Elliott. Jake led the Galloping Goats came away with an important victory over Sasquatch Militia, scoring three touchdowns in a 32-28 win.

Mitchell L. came up big in his playoff game with lots of great receptions. Mitchell was a key force for his team, and the play that sealed the deal for his honors was a terrific toe-tapping reception. With the final score ending 25 to 26, Mitchell's field awareness and ability to get his toes down on a TD reception was a defining moment in the game. Mitchell's play earns his this weeks POTW!
