Summer Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Boys & Girls Club Sundays

It might have been her first ever kickball game, but you wouldn't have known it from watching her play. After making 3 amazing catches deep in right center field, she crushed a long bomb over the center fielder's head for a double. Her team might not have won, but Alyse was by far the best player on the field, earning Player of the Week. . Congrats!

Dan had an incredible game on Sunday, including kicking for the cycle. In the 2nd inning he kicked a 2-run double, followed that in the 3rd with a 2-run homerun. He then added a run scoring single in the 5th and finished with a triple in the 7th [or did he advance on the throwing error??]. Either way it was a tremendous offensive showing and very deserving of player of the week.

Great twisting kicks plus catches at first that just blow your mind equals a championship for the Turkey Snazzlers. Sean was on the receiving end of some rocket throws to first and he did not disappoint--making catches from his knees (keeping a foot on the base) stretching and leaning, just any way you like it without a single drop. On offense, he likes the twisting style kicks which works well for him. In game 1, he had a big bases loaded double in the 7th that turned into 4 RBI's before the play ended, sending his team to the championship game. In the final, he once again brought it in the top of the 7th with a run scoring double, a key insurance run in what ended up a 2-run game.
