Summer Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Fridays

On Friday night vs the Ninja Turtles, Belltown Pub got a shot in the arm from Lana Cox who absolutely tore it up all game long. She batted 4 for 4 delivering deep shot after deep shot to center field clearing bases and running the base pads like a woman possessed. She had two triples, a double and a single and batted in 5 runs. Her play at first base was equally impressive. She played an error free game scooping out many bad throws and hanging on to the overthrows. Just an all out great performance. Great game Lana and look forward to seeing you in action again soon.

Lex B. pitched a stellar game and allowed very few hits on the game. The defense behind him played solid, but most base runners made it due to errors. Alex arguably only game up 3 hits in his 7 innings of shutout softball. Alex was decent with the bat, but hey he's a pitcher. Great game Alex.

Stephanie B. Was hands down the best player of the night as she helped tons getting her team a couple of wins. Stephanie played outstanding at second base snagging numerous shots her way, and racking up outs. She also killed it at the plate hitting liners left and right knocking in key runs on ear way to winning the chipper! Great job Stephanie.
