Summer Co-ed Softball at Greenlake Sundays

When I first umped for this team 4 years ago simply put, they were a mess. They were a newly formed team and where experiencing some growing pains as most newly put together teams do. Their defense was very porous, there was a little bit of infighting, their hitting was sub-par. It was not looking good for them in a USL softball league that's tough and where teams look for weaknesses to exploit during play. I did not expect to see them stay together and whether the storm. Turn the page and four years later Fowl Balls have turned the table and are a completely different team now. They say that failure is the mother of success and on Sunday we saw all of their past failures turn into a beautiful turn around. Their hitting is second to none, their defense is as tight as a drum and their pitching is lights out. They have added a few pieces to a really good core and now they are scary and a force to be reckoned with. They ripped off 20 runs on Sunday like it was nothing and only gave up 4 runs against a team that usually dominates the league. Great game Fowl Balls and great to see you guys come full circle.
