Shockers Hold Off Pitch Slap
Craig Bruce Powers Shockers
On Monday night against Pitch Slap Craig took the Shockers on his back and they held off Pitch Slap late for a much deserved victory. This game was an absolute barn burner with great play after great play inning after inning. Kudos to both teams!! The story of the night was Craig. he batted 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a triple and a double scoring 3 runs and batting in 4 runs. When the Shockers needed a boost Craig delivered inning after inning. His play at third base was equally impressive helping to lock the left side of the defense down all night. Great game Craig.
Usually Opening Day is all about working out all of the kinks. Nobody told Frankie C this as he had himself a day at the plate that he may never forget. Leading off the game for Soft Ball, Hard Bats, Frankie blasted a home run to get his team started. How did he follow up his huge start the game? He went and hit 3 more home-runs, for a total of 4 home-runs and 7 RBIs at the lead-off spot. His work at shortstop was also highly impressive as he lead his team to an opening day win.
On Wednesday night the All Star Super Stars were absolutely super. They were relentless inning after inning which made it hard for the Shockers to hang with them. Hitting, running, pitching and defense was absolutely stellar. Morgan just went bananas batting 5 for 5 with a deep bases clearing HR, a triple and 3 doubles to pace the All Stars. His play in the field was equally stellar stopping every ball that came his way. Great game Morgan and super game All Stars!!!
My oh, my oh, my. This team is on fire. Sasquatch Deliveries are on a mission and they are looking like they can't be stopped. Their defense is top notch and their plate game is crazy great. Everyone is hitting the ball and they are manufacturing runs on demand. I expect this team to be in the championship game based on what we are seeing so far. Monday night's performance in both games was one for the ages and it was exciting to see. Great game and we hope to see you capitalize on your momentum going into the play offs.

HNI Gettn' After It
On Wednesday night HNI captured their first win of the season in grand fashion. They played like a team possessed the entire game with hit after hit after hit. Their defense was equally impressive holding their opponent to 7 runs total. They had fun, they played hard and hustled and it paid off. Great game HNI!!

Frankie Calkins Ignites Huge Fire
When you need a catalyst, or simply someone to lead your team you look for someone who's confident, strong and doesn't mind getting down and dirty. Frankie continues to lead this team with his play and his lead by example attitude and they are rolling right now. Their pitching was superb both games and they scored a combined 32 runs on the night while playing championship caliber softball. Frankie's batting is also superb and I can't remember a time in the last two years that I have seen him get out. He's an RBI machine and his defense at short stop is down right filthy. This is his team and they are on fire right now. Judging by how this team looks right now heading towards the playoffs, they are going to be a tough mountain for any team to climb. Great game Frankie!!

Matt Morris-Rosenfeld Hits For Cycle
Game in and game out Matt brings it in all phases of the game. He's an RBI machine who can do it all and its a pleasure to see him play every week. This week he batted 5 for 5 with 2 HRs and hit for the cycle. Great game Matt.
