Yeah Drew!! This guy always goes all out on the court. He dives for everything and definitely isn't afraid to get a little sandy saving a ball. With superb volleyball skills and excellent team spirit this guy should be killin it all season. If he has 99 problems, a beach definitely ain't one. Even with a loss in a tough match against Sloppy Sets, this team should be one to watch. Keep it up guys! And way to go Drew!!!

SOGO
Congrats Alex! Alex made more diving saves tonight than I've probably seen all summer. He was covered in sand after getting shanked balls up miraculously and making stellar plays throughout the night. Not only did he sacrifice himself for the ball but his dives actually got the ball up and playable. And even though they didn't end up with the win, SOGO definitely played with enthusiasm and a fighting spirit. The sun was out and their guns were definitely out. Guns a blazin', Alex and the rest of SOGO were killin it and put up an amazing fight against Sloppy Sets. However their opponent's sets were just not sloppy enough in the end. Even so, Alex was the shit tonight and deservingly receives the title of Player of the Week!!

Ahhh yeahh if anyone was watching this game last night they would've been like DAYUMMM Patrick's on fiya today! He was making the craziest saves and hitting the sand to get ridiculous balls up. Not only is he great at defense, but his offense is pretty remarkable as well. Hits-n-serves were glorious and on point all night. His talents and great team spirit brought contributed to vBallard vBallers' amazing comeback. With a loss in the first round and an extremely close win in the second, Patrick brought out all the stops bringing the final W to his team with ease. Way to go man! Sweet playing. Keep up all that great werk!

Jorge played amazing last night!! His hits were on point and serves were crazy top spins that could not be returned. There were dives and crazy skilled defense that saved so many balls and won so many plays! Jorge had some sick blocks against SOGO even though the sun and their opponent's guns were definitely out. In a well played match, Jorge was a champ and helped the team to their first win of the season! You would've thought they'd have had been winning the entire time the way they played last night. Jorge was a main contributor and definitely goes out for every play. EVERY play. Unfortunately this enthusiasm and fighting spirit led to an injury by the end of the night. No one can deny that Jorge is an amazing player and teammate and we all are hoping for a speedy recovery. Great job last night Jorge! You played like a champ and were clutch in helping you team achieve their first win!! Good luck in your recovery!. We hope to see you back on the court very soon!! :)

Hey guys, Chris rocks! Even without a real opponent, this guys was killing it today. Smashing every ball in sight, Chris was going for it and not holding back at all. With such accuracy and precision, there was no stopping his monstrous hits and glorious serves. Defense wasn't too shabby either. He definitely bumped it up a few times out there on the sand. This guy has been doing a splendid job since the beginning of the season so watch out for him in the playoffs! Everything has been going swell so far, so good luck next week and keep up the awesome work!!
