Congrats Emily!!! This girl was doing awesome tonight! She was diving for balls and attacking everything up at the net. The highlight was a diving save to keep the ball up for her teammates who she ever so supportively encouraged throughout the match. This girl is a real team player. She kept the ball alive, had some killer swings and serves, and inhibited many an ace. Way to go girl!

The Ace Inhibitors are back at it for another convivial season. They always make for a good time, and what makes it even better? Winning! Each one of the Ace Inhibitors contributed to their win over the Imperfect Strangers but Taylor S. especially pulled it off. Taylor was ALL.OVER.THE.PLACE. Taylor played great offense and defense. This week's Player of the Week goes to Brian from Shazam!! This guy was a killin' machine tonight! Nearly every set that came his way was a kill or at least a smashing hit. The highlight of the night was a sweet line shot to win a crazy long rally in the third game against Not a Clue. Along with hitting, Brian had great defense and some awesome blocks up at the net. B-rian was definitely on his game tonight. Way to go guy! And congrats on the win tonight Shazammm! Keep up the good work!

Get it Alberto! This guy had an amazing night tonight. From his superb topspin serves to his smashing hits, Alberto's got it all. He's got crazy hops and some killer wrist-snapping action to smack all dem balls straight down. Especially when it comes to over feeds. You guys. This guy is a beast at killing over feeds. His hang time is ridiculous! On top of all this, his blocks and defense are on point too! Front and back row, Alberto is a force to be reckoned with. He digs, he kills, he aces!!

Congrats Krystal!! This girl's defense was solid throughout the night. She passed practically every tough serve from Not A Clue, saved nearly every tip, and dug up countless hard hits. This was a great match up between these two teams. In the third game, it was all tied up. And, when it looked like all hope was lost at a score of 20-24, Krystal went back to serve her team to victory! With amazing support from her teammates, Krystal's defense was redikulus. Sweet job girl! This indy team is really looking like one that's been playing together for at least a few seasons. Way to keep it scrappy and pull out the 'W' guys!!

Henryyyyy! This guy was on fire last night! He was flyin' everywhere and didn't let a single ball drop. This guy was killin it from the front, from the back, getting those overfeeds and smacking them down in front of the 10' line. Holy cannoli Henry was a beast! No mercy was to be had. He was diving for balls, picking up the impossible. He tipped straight down and hit everything with supreme force. Those blocks though. Hot dayum nothing was getting past this Great Wall! Sweet job Henry! And good luck next week in the semifinals!

Get it Spiked Punch! This team is on fire literally every week and tonight was no exception. In the semifinals, they tore it up against Raptor Death Monkey. Then, with hardly any time to refuel, they were playing a heated match against 1, 2, 3. This may have been the most intense match up of the season as skill and stamina levels were nearly matched. But, in the end, Spiked Punch walked away with the 'W' as per usual. Sweet job guys! And good luck next season!
