Chris Vodry Goes Nuts at the Plate
Chris was simply on fire Tuesday night against Blackout batting 5 for 5 with 3 deep bases clearing bombs a triple and a double. He also batted in 8 runs and score 3 runs. The Rangers and the Mariners did call me after the game to inquire about Mr. Vodry's performance so there might be a call from one of these two organizations or both really soon. Great game Chris and look forward to seeing you in action again soon.

Joe Morris Put On A Hitting Clinic
On Thursday night against Front Desk Joe was a mad man at the plate an on defense. he batted 4 for 4 with 2 deep bases clearing bombs and batted in 7 runs. He also scored 4 runs and played center field like it was going to be his last time playing. His hustle, his batting, his base running all superb and definitely a performance to be proud of. Great game Joe and can't wait to see you in action again.

Andrew Green Leads The Way
Tuesday night's game between Pitch, Don't Kill My Vibe and Ninja Please was just about as good as a competitive game of softball can get. The score would make it seem that this was a close game throughout and it was until Andrew stepped to the plate in the 5th and 6th innings and delivered what turned out to be knock out blows. He batted 4 for 4 with a HR, a triple and 2 doubles batting in 5 of the last 10 runs. His pitching was also stellar and seemed to confuse Ninja Please batters holding them to 0 runs in the 4th and 6th innings. Great game Andrew and we look forward to seeing you in action again soon.

Front Desk Turns The Lights Out On Blackout
Total Team Effort In Huge Win
Thursday night's game between Front Desk and Blackout saw a concerted effort that began in the first inning and continued throughout the night. Scoring 34 runs is hard to do in any league game unless everyone on your team is on fire that day. Well, Thursday night the entire team was on fire at the plate and it seemed as though everyone on the team had at least two hits during the game. This was an awesome display of hitting and hustle and I look forward to seeing Front Desk in action next week to see if they can keep the fire going. Great game!!
Front Desk (Mascot TBD) forfeited to Ninja Please.

Cold Ballers Rough Up Black Out
John Duffy Solid At Plate In Win
The Cold Ballers just keep getting better every passing week. Their improved defense and their improved hitting really showed on Tuesday night as they rolled against Black Out. There is just a whole lot of hustle, a whole lot of energy and they are just flat out having fun. On Tuesday night they held Black Out to 2 runs total for the night which is very hard to do in a slow pitch softball game and with John Duffy on fire at the plate the deal was sealed early on. John batted 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and a single. He also scored 3 runs and batted in 2. Great job John and great job Cold Ballers.
On Thursday night Erin batted 2 for 4 with a double and a single. Her defense was off the charts as she made out after out at 2nd base and put St. Johns in a position to tack on some insurance runs in the middle innings. St. Johns proved to be too much on Thursday night and Erin had a great deal to do with that. Awesome game Erin!!

Ninja Please Survives Late Push By Rough and Tumblers.
Lindsay Shelmire Big In Win
Tuesday night's game turned out to be a very close, well played and fun game. Ninja Please lead throughout but Rough and Tumblers pushed and pushed but just could not overcome the early scored runs and the amazing D at first base by Lindsay. Lindsay batted 3 for 4 with two doubles and a triple scoring 2 runs and batting in another. She played first base like an all-star all game long. Hats off to Lindsay and hats off to Ninja Please. Great win!!

Andrew Green Delivers Knock Out Blow
Thursday night's game was an absolute barn burner between St. Johns and Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe. The game ended up going 9 innings and coming down to one moment in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and one on. Needing only 1 run to win, Andrew steps into the box and delivers a laser up the middle scoring the winning run. Game over, good night and drive home safe!
Kellan M was ready for playoffs. With his team down by 4 runs, Kellan smacked a three run home run to bring his team within 1 in the fifth inning. With his team down 1 the very next inning Kellan stepped to the plate with 2 outs and a runner on first hoping to get his team to the next round. After taking a couple of pitches Kellan blasted a monster home run that sent his team into the next round of the playoffs. Great game Kellan, and a great playoff win in the first round of the playoffs by Cold Ballers.
Mark M. closes out the season with a player of the week honor for his excellent play. Mark went 4 for 5 from the plate knocking in a bulk of his teams runs. Mark helped keep a game long lead with his excellent defense, committing no errors, and racking up outs in a 10 run victory. Great game Mark.
Once again St. Johns has been crowned as league champions. This team has come a very long way and have been together for quite sometime. I have personally watched this team evolve over the years and they have made strides and are now always in the hunt for a championship. Great team effort from everyone at every position and congratulations on yet another league title.
