Fantastic Finish
Xterminators Gut it Out

Sunday was a day that no man on the Xterminators will soon forget. They faced a tough road to the championship, with Steve McNair's Shotgun Offense, and the Lynch Mobb standing in their way.

In the semi-finals, all hope appeared to be lost, as they trailed 43-38 with their only hope being one last heave to the end zone. But their prayers were answered, at they scored a touchdown on the final play, off of a deflection in the end zone.

In the final, they faced the Lynch Mobb, led by quarterback Ryan Peterson. Peterson kept making plays, but so did the Xterminators. It came down to a final heave by Peterson, but this time, the ball wasn't caught, and the Xterminators held on for a 47-41 victory.

Winning the Championship on Sunday was a tall order for Blue and Green. Standing in their was was the Lawn Wranglers, who happen to have the most championships in league history. But that kind of pedigree didn't intimidate this bunch, as they kept their cool throughout the game, taking an early lead and nursing it all the way, eventually pulling away in a 37-28 victory. Leading the way was their quarterback, Bryce Blum. He has been the leader of this team as they have made a steady rise through the mid-core ranks, and into hardcore, all the way to winning the Hardcore Championship on Sunday. Congratulations to Bryce and to Blue and Green!

Championship Goes to Do House

The Road of Destiny for Do House ended with a much deserved championship, but it didn't come easy. In the semi-finals, UEONO was as tough as can be. But Jonathan Pham made a key interception in the second half that led to the game clinching touchdown in a 27-16 victory that propelled them into the final. The Championship game was thrilling as can be, as Do House held on for a 43-38 victory over a determined Sproles Royce squad. Qyang N led the way in the last game, by scoring three touchdowns. But it was his defense that ultimately made the difference as he had two key pass deflections that stopped Sproles Royce, in an otherwise offense-heavy game. Congratulations to the winners!
