Winter Co-ed Volleyball at Seattle Central Thursdays

With crisp passing and constant communication, Marley kept the 95 Bulls trucking through the opening game of the week. Her team won 3-0 tonight as Marley put in a dominating performance. If this team was really emulating the basketball bulls, Marley would be my guess as the Jordan with her flawless abilities tonight. Way to go Marley!

Matt had himself a helluva game tonight as the Sloppy Sets won their match. Everything just seemed to bounce Matt's way. No matter how he hit the ball it would find itself going over the net, falling to the one empty spot on the court. One ball even seemed to roll up the net after a spike and just land perfectly on the other side. It was great to see the ball go his way. His net play was phenomenal as he was a one man wall, taking away any opportunities from the opposing team. Matt's strong play will certainly give the Sloppy Sets the opportunity to pull out wins all the way to the playoffs.

Ben had wicked serves tonight and was key to helping his team take home the W this week. He also learned to keep score and play volleyball at the same time! With Ben's serves and awesome team morale Ball's In had a blast and racked up the points! Great work Ben and team!

In a loser goes home battle against Notorious D.I.G. the Infectious Agents were given more than they could handle. Well that was until Laura stepped in with the play of the night. Notorious D.I.G.'s Kaytlyn was serving aces all night against the Infectious Agents and there was just no stopping her. They didn't have an answer until the game was tied 18-18 when Kaytlyn was on the line to serve. As the ball pierced over the net and began to dip down, Laura got real low, swooping in right before it hit the court to pop the ball perfectly to the setter which transitioned into the game winning spike. Returning those serves is already a difficult feat, but to do it with the game on the line takes a special kind of player like Laura. Great job tonight Laura and way to help your team move on!
