Summer Co-ed Softball at Paramount Playfield Sundays

While KB's Crew did rack up 13 runs, it was defense that won this game. Playing with only 3 outfielders, KB's Crew defintely needed that extra effort from their center fielder, and they got it. Todd's trakced down numerous fly balls in the outfield that he had no business getting to, holding Molly Maguire's to 3 runs.

When his team needed him most, Sean Foley came through in dramatic fashion. Sean hit a game winning three-run homer in the top of the 6th inning and also made some great plays at Short Stop in order to preserve the win.

It was the 7th inning and The Mariners were down by a run when Dave Miles from KB's Crew hit a smash to shortstop, but still a routine out. (Which was the 3rd out) Well Dave had pulled a muscle early in the game so he did not give effort to run to first. Little did he know he could have walked there with no problem. The comedy of errors to get the ball to first started at short, went over first, then to third before somone decided to run the ball back to first for the out. You had to be there but it was a entertaining to get a person out that was not even trying to get to first.
