This weeks player of the week goes to April G for solid defense and deep kicks. Bunting was never even an option when April stepped to the plate, April was all about bombing it deep into the outfield, and was very successful as she knocked runs and rounded the bases. April also made great catches on bullets sent her way astonishing all who were present. April stole plenty of base kicks, and knocked valuable runs to get her team off to a 1 and 0 start. Great job April!

Sean must be a great dodgeball player, because he definitely has what some would call, Matrix-esque moves. Not once but twice did he somehow contort his body to avoid being tagged in what seemed like a sure out. The best example was when he unexpectedly turned on the speed and stretched a routine double into a home run by evading a throw that seemed to have him gunned down for at home plate. Way to go Sean!

The Team everyone wants to play on
In the locker room, as team Enemen is getting ready to take the field, the captain tells her team: "you screw up once, you're off the team.......(silence).....really?...it's kickball....j/k....let's have a great time!" That's the team motto: have a great time. And that's what Enemen is all about. They might not win every game, but they sure know how to represent the true spirit of an elementary school game. Lauren "LC" Clark deserved player of the week for her stellar play. She contributed both in the field and the plate. LC reached base mutiple times, scoring a couple times. Her defense was just as spectacular as Lauren made a nice catch in the oufield. LC probably had the play of the night on her great slide into second base.
