In what turned out to be a very good game between the number one and number two seeded teams, Jonathan Pipkin took his team on his shoulders and willed them to their first league title. In a very tight game early on and when his team needed a cushion, Jonathan delivered bomb after bomb driving in 7 runs and putting on a defensive show that is only rivaled by a major league player. His leadership and play motivated and inspired Russell's Wilson and gave them all that they needed to get past PB Army. It was a total team effort defensively and offensively and it was fun to watch them get after it inning after inning. Seeds did not matter in this game as evidenced by the final score and the fact that they would not be denied. From the base coaching to the sideline score keeper this team was destined for a title and now they have tasted the sweet, sweet taste of a USL league title.
