Wolverine! AKA the HAMMER! AKA king of kickball! Hugh of Great Balls of Fire played an exceptional double header. In the first game, while playing shortstop, made a line drive catch, off balance, in between his legs...NEVER have I seen anything like it. Kicking, he went 7 for 9 kicking a triple, homerun, and a few singes. Excellent job, Hugh! You are an all-star!

In case you didn't know, Zach owns the outfield. If he's feeling nice, he might let you sneak in a single, but if he's not clowning around, Zach is a lethal underdog kickball outfilder. Just guessing, but he must have caught 20 to 30 catches during his game against Hashtag. It seemed that there was no doubt that if the ball was in the air and it was over grass, it was going to be caught by the MAN himself. Awesome job out there, Zach!

Paul of Great Balls of Fire was an absolute stud on the kickball field Monday night. He was a big reason for the SERIOUS comeback that occurred during the 4th inning, where Great Balls of Fire scored 8 runs to climb within a few runs of Extra Special Ballers. He had some dynamite kicks and also played great D @ first. But mainly he will be forever known as the greatest slider to ever slide into the bases @ Rogers playfield.

Good things are happening for em'

In a vote by kickball teams in Underdog, hands down, Not so lil kickers would be voted most outgoing, charasmatic teams in the league. And on Monday the 1st of July, Not so Lil Kickers showed its opponents that their not just a fun-filled, highly energetic/spirted team, but they can also play some gosh darn kickball. During their second game of their double header they went head to head against an undefeated Groin Pains, pulling to within just a few runs of taking the lead. You could see the anxiety and pressure buidling amongst a usually calm and collective Groin Pains. It seemed that Not so lil Kickers gave them a run for their money finshing strong w/10 runs to their 16. Honorable mentions go out to Shana and John!

Clay Packard of Groin Pains, if you were lucky to be there, put on a free clinic Monday night. Bright eyed prospects will usually pay top dollar for his demos and instruction but that night, to those that were watching, got see how a TRUE shortstop plays his position in kickball for Free. Nothing got by him the whole game. Liners up the middle were snagged by him laying out for the catch. He led the team in outs and gatorade chugs. Amazing performace, Clay!

In a hotly contested defensive battle, Tracy was a bright spot for the TabTeam offense. She came away with a couple of hits while playing superb defense at catcher all night. With the game on the line in the bottom of the 7th and the winning run on third, Tracy calmy stepped up to the plate and drilled a game winning, walk-off single to send TabTeam through to the next round.
