Summer Softcore Kickball in Ravenna Mon/Wed

In the first game of the season, James showed that he will be a force to be reckoned with all season long. At the plate, James had a couple of sweet blasts, racking up 3 runs batted in. When he was playing in the outfield, James seemed to be everywhere. He was as sure handed as it gets, even turning a double play! Great game James and good luck the rest of the season!

Joey is the definition ot a game ain't over 'til it's over. After being down early and often and at one point, by six runs, Joey sparked a fifth inning ralley that at first saw his team trailing 9 - 3, only to end the inning tied at 9. After seeing their opponent take the lead again in the next inning, his team brewing with confidence responded by scoring 2 more runs to take the lead again. Overall, Joey finished the evening with 3 base hits and 3 runs scored while producing 3 RBI's.

P.E.M.D.A.S. had a double header this week. In the honor of the double header Justin H. provided 4 double plays. Justin had an epic double play in the second game when he was playing Left Center. He caught the ball and immediately threw it over to First base hitting the runner before he was able to get back to the base to end the inning. Gave a 110% in both games.

Alisha deserved player of the week honors for being a wench, no literally she was dressed up as a wench for Ball Me Maybe's dress like a Pirate Night. Besides the great costume she was rocking, Alisha did some great things on the field as well to help her team win both games of their doubleheader. In their second game Alisha was a jack of all trades pitching, catching, scoring runs and playing all over the field. Her biggest contribution probably came in the first game as Alisha came in as a relief pitcher in the second inning after her team was trailing. Alisha was able to use some of her pirate magic pitches to hold their opponents to only two runs the rest of the game. Alisha's pitching and the stellar defense behind her proved to be the difference. Keep up the good work Alisha.

Rob "The MVP" Kim showed off his amazing leg in a critical playoff game Monday night. His first 2 trips up to the dish had the the same result, clearing the bases with a long distance home run. If that wasn't impressive enough, the self proclaimed MVP snagged every fly ball that ventured into right field. Rob even flashed his blinding speed by running the ball into the pitcher's mound before runners even thought about tagging up. Great Job MVP.
