On a team where no one was familiar with each other, Lara stepped up big making chemistry a non-issue tonight. Lara handled the ball perfectly, sending perfect passes to the setter and even doing an amazing job at setting herself. After falling the first game, Lara was the key to set up long scoring rallies to help gain a victory on her second game. "We Could Carry Less" looks to be establishing themselves as threats behind the strong play of Lara!

With only 3 people on the court, Google came out firing on all cylinders. Jacob led the charge as he scored in multiple ways. At the serving line, Jacob had a great jump serve that would zip through the air, spearing the opponents arms. He didn't stop there, Jacob is definitely a veteran when it comes to sand because he was able to elevate high to send spikes down. Google is proving to be the team to beat through the strong plays of Jacob and his team.

99 Problems had two tough games this week, but they played with a lot of heart and hustle. Drew was definitely a standout player with great net play and some great kills. Drew and his teammates didn't let the harsh weather get in their way. Nothing stopped him from diving and making great defensive plays. Great job Drew.

Levi was phenomenal with his net play tonight. He was able to stonewall pretty much everything that came his way. There really wasn't a ball that he didn't challenge. His effort and hustle was the key to obtaining a 2-1 victory for his team. Levi's defense is proven to be the staple of this team and no spiker is safe with Levi on the net.

Owen is definitely one of the most improved Underdogs out there this season. Last night Owen was killing at serve returns and diving all over the place! The Fighting Blueberries had one of their best nights last night and so did Owen. It is awesome to see how good he has gotten at passing! Can't wait to see more from Owen and The Fighting Blueberries!
