Spiked Punch is at it again this season, reloading their roster with talent. Rachel Dudley proved to be worthy of all the praise tonight as she put on a volleyball clinic for the whole league to witness. Rachel's serves were bullets flying low, with the ball dipping just as it passed the net. Her hustle was amazing as well, showing great range by diving to the empty spots to perfectly pop the ball right up. Rachel had the total package tonight. But don't worry league, Rachel will be providing more lessons next week!

Tiffany is an amazing setter and tonight she showcased her skills. Nuthin' Fancy's spikers had an easy job as Tiffany set up beautiful passes for them. Everything just came effortlessly for Tiffany as she directed the ball anywhere on the court. The perfect height and distance from the net helped Nuthin' Fancy pound down the great sets from Tiffany. Keep it up Tiffany, you're absolutely dishing it out!

Liquid Courage played down a woman this week, but made up for it with hustle! Even though they did not win their match, the games were very competitive with long rallies and great diving plays! Emily stood out for her passing, setting, and defensive hustle. She was a playmaker and had many assists that let to kills. Her defense was stellar and it helped make up for the whole they had in the back row with one player down.

Great job Emily and Liquid Courage - keep up the hustle!

Nuthin' Fancy is a very strong team. This week they had five great hitters who all had multiple kills. Their play would not have been possible without their AWESOME setter, Tiffany. Tiffany had countless assists and her team constantly praised her for her well placed sets. During a fourth 'for fun' game, Tiffany got a few chances to spike the ball and she excelled at that as well. Great job Tiffany you were definitely an MVP this week.

Liquid Courage played down a person this week. It took them a while to get their footing and lost a close first game. They rallied back to win their next two games and the match. Cody was crucial to this win with his great defense in the back row and stellar net play. Their opponents had tough blockers so Cody got crafty with tips and quick sets. Cody had an all around stellar performance!

Indy 500 has really come together as team in the past few games. The team has some dominate male hitters, but Adrienne stood out this week for her hits and back row hustle. Adrienne got a ton of outside sets from teammate Ezra and she pounded the other team with hits. When playing off the net, Adrienne is always hustling for digs to keep the rally going! Underdog can't wait to see more from Adrienne next week!

Nuthin' Fancy was very fancy last night. It is obvious that they have some incredible athletes on the team, but what is most impressive is the team's chemistry. Each player contributes and they make sure everyone gets a good share of sets. They even give their setter opportunities to hit. Nuthin' Fancy will be a force to be reckoned with in the championship game. Any team will have to step up their game to challenge them for the title!

Dave has been a team leader all season. He is a coach on the court and is always encouraging and supporting his teammates! Lets not forget his stellar play though. Dave was like a wall this week at middle blocker. The opposing team had some tough hitters, but they had a tough time hitting around Dave. He also had a few diving digs from the back row that were really impressive. Dave plays solid every time he steps on the court, but he really stepped up this week to help his team win the championship.
