Wow! This girl knows her stuff! Through out the games, she was always there, making sure that the ball went straight to the setter, ready to set up a great kill! You can count on her to be there ready to go. I loved her positive energy and the 100% effort that she put into going for every ball. With the help of her team mates, they played some really close games and ending up with a 2-1 win. What a great way to start off the season and I am so excited to see what this season has in store for Chieko and her team. Way to go Block Ops!

FOG
Despite the fact that FOG unfortunately had to forfeit their games this week, they still went out there and played like a real team! With only 3 players, they went out there and really showed their stuff! Playing against a team of 5 was a piece of cake for this incredible team! It was like they weren't even missing players. Their energy and effort stayed at 100% for the whole time that they were on that court and that is what I love to see! They went out there and had fun doing what they love to do. And that is Volleyball. Great Work FOG!

Let me tell you, this girl knows how to have a great time doing what she loves! She always has a positive attitude that lights up the court and her energy is off the charts! She is always on her toes ready for that ball to come right to her. Not to mention her beautiful serves! WOW. Even though Indy #17 were missing some players do to injuries and other reasons this week, they still acted and played like a real team with Rebecca leading their energy! Its teams like this that makes volleyball so fun to watch! Great job!

Team of the week: Sets on the Beach
One thing is for sure, Sets on the Beach sure knows how to "set up" the ball for an attack! Too bad they aren't actually playing in their natural setting.... the beach! Hopefully we will see you guys playing beach volleyball this summer! Anyways, this team has been such a blast to watch play every Monday night. Whether it is their beautiful sets, powerful attacks, or killer serves, Sets on the Beach is one heck of a team! They are always on their toes ready for the return! Great job this week team and I look forward to watching more games!

Nick was a force to be reckoned with at the net this week. His hits kept the other team off balance and he did a great job blocking the other team's hitters. Not only was Nick killing it in the 90 degree gym, but he was also playing through illness. He played through the pain and helped his team pull out some close wins. Great job Nick!
