Sloshball at Heart
Sloshball handed over pitching duties to a rookie who had never played before and Kristin did not let them down. Not only did her masterful pitching shut down the opponent, she chipped in with some timely hits to drive in a couple of runs. All of Kristin's contributions led to a run away victory by Sloshball at Heart. Great performance Kristin!

Jenny used her natural skills and tremendous speed in both games of a doubleheader to really earn her spot as POTW. She reached base every at bat in both games. In a game 1 loss (by 1 run in the bottom of the 7th), Jenny keyed her teams 3rd inning 4 run rally with an rbi and run scored, and recorded 2 big outs with runners on. In game 2, she continued her prowess with huge catches in right field and beating out throws to first with ease. She added 2 more RBI's an 2 runs scored to lead her team to victory. Way to go Jenny!

#7 seed holds off late comeback
After winning their first game handily, the 7th seeded Garren and His Casual Encounters jumped out to an early lead on the 2nd seeded Windows 2 the Wall. The 2nd seed chipped away at the lead throughout the game and eventually putting the tying run on 3rd base in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs. But Garren's pitcher was able to induce an outfield flyout to secure the upset victory.
