A Poppin Comeback!!
Poppin Flags Holds On!

For even the most experienced players and observers, Thursday Night's Championship Game will not be forgotten any time soon. Both Legion of Zoom and Poppin Flags played an excellent football game. Each team went on runs of play that tested the will, reserves, and perseverance of the other squad. Early on it was Legion of Zoom applying some serious pressure on Poppin Flags, as they quickly jumped out to a 21-0 lead before Poppin Flags had run five plays. Then, the experienced squad responded with 24 unanswered points to take the lead heading into the halftime break.

Poppin Flags then extended the lead to 37-27 midway through the second half before Legion of Zoom responded with a gutsy comeback of their own, eventually taking the lead 41-27. However after getting a crucial stop on a fourth down play, LoZ couldn't convert on a key forth down of their own, opening the door for Poppin Flags to take possession with 16 seconds left near midfield. With 10 seconds left, Dominick Jones threw "Jump Ball" Jarvas Donaldson from about 25 yards away, and Jarvas came down with it and scored the game winning touchdown! It was easily one of the best games of the year. Congratulations are in order for both teams.
