To start the season with a double header is always tough! I'd Hit That made it look easy! Will no fatigue they were able to start off the night 3-0. Part of their success is due to Nick and his dive keeping the ball alive on a very key play! "That" dive included Nick sliding across the floor and into a standby player all while playing the ball high enough to have his teammate play it over. With this amazing play I'd Hit That was able to keep the momentum high and finish out the set! Great job!

On Monday night, Arman started the second game of the match against Spiked Gatorade on fire. He served the first nine points of the match all on a line, dropping each serve in for an ace. The serves were so fast and hard that Spiked Gatorade could barely get a finger on them.

While the M's may be baseball people they sure know how to play some volleyball and this week was no exception. Doug was a tough middle to go up against and playing in the back row he was quick as a cat! While his night ended in an injury his legacy will live on as a fierce competitor. We hope for a speedy recovery and can't wait to see you back on the court!

After a late start to the season Spiked Gatorade got off to a shaky start, but that didn't stop the moral or energy of this team. Each week they come out and give it their all! While this week they were unable to take the W, Lindsey and her monster serving made it a close match in games 2 and 3. Lindsey is a force in the back row as well as the front! She was a setting machine from the front and was assisting kills left and right! Great work Lindsey and Spiked Gatorade!

To say Rebecca likes to dive for the ball is an understatement, she loves it! Or at least she is not letting that ball drop with out a serious diving effort. No matter where she is on the court! If for some reason Rebecca is not able to dive for the ball you will still know where she is as she is always vocal in helping her team know if the ball is in or out and who's got it! To round out Rebecca's skills she is a trickster at the net with slammin' hits as well as sneaky tips! Keep up the good work Rebecca!

The M's had a double header, so great energy was really important to have! This high spirited team was all for the positive energy and good sportsmanship. The one player that really stood out to me was Alyssa H. Even though she may have felt a little bit sick, she still took some dives and slides for the team. In the second match of their double header, their great energy did not stop there. They had amazing volleys that kept the energy from both teams up and running. Even though the M's were tried from the first game, they still put in all the effort. On top of that, Alyssa had BEAUTIFUL serves throughout the 3 sets. And at one point, she had 12 amazing serves in a row! What a great night for the M's and all the other teams as well. Keep up the good work!
