Gentlemen's Flag Football at Seattle Center - Sundays [SPR 05]

Brian's play this game may have raised the suspicions of Congress. Congress seems to think that play so dominating can only be produced by the juice. USL staff has already been subpeonaed to testify because of him. Brian should expect his subpeona soon.

This week the man who earned player of the week also had the play of the week. James Robertson was involved in a USL rarity, a returned punt for a touchdown. Because there is no blocking, a player must avoid nearly every defender if he or she is going to return a punt for a score. James did just that, showing an electrifing burst of speed along with cat like agility on his way to a key score for the Free Agents who won 34-32.

This past Sunday, The Statdog was watching from a distance and noticed a certain outstanding player. Steve Thornton made great catch after great catch for Couged It. One in particular was so amazing that The Statdog is going to declare it the catch of the season. After looking up at the ball and getting the defender to commit in the wrong direction, Steve went in the other direction, behind the defender and made the catch.

In one of the best games of the day Danny helped the DB's come back from 19-0 to win in the final 10 seconds in this 2nd round mens playoff game. In most weeks this would be good enough but the fact that he did it all while wearing an authentic stormtrooper outfit from Star Wars makes danny the POTW!
