Volleyball: The Freedom of the Balls
Melissa may not have been on the winning side of the net last night, but every time I looked over at their court, this girl was digging the ball! She was clearly dealing with whatever Hot Cheetos and Takis was throwing at her. Keep up the great digs Melissa!

Morning Missiles
This week's player of the week crown goes to one Angel Kohls, who showed toughness and perseverance on the court last night! Despite twisting her ankle in the game, she jumped back on the court and helped her team in a touch match against Hot Cheetos and Takis. Her good spirits would not be broken and she kept a smile on her face!

Greg Hogan
Greg Hogan
Kiss My Pass- Indy #20
Greg played fantastically today in all 3 sets. Greg managed to always give his team a chance every time he touched the ball by committing zero errors tonight. Greg also got in touch with his inner warrior, finding many ways to score for his team. At the net, Greg sent spikes over that were pin point accurate and extremely difficult for the opposition to handle. Greg also brought it off the court, cheering on his teammates while waiting to rotate back in the game. Way to go Greg!

Brittney Harrison
Will Work For Sets
In an epic match against Casual Encounters, Will Work for Sets came out on top, barely! Setter Brittney helped her team by putting up great sets against the tough opponents, and keeping her cool, even in a game as close as the first one. She worked hard to get her hitters the ball and it paid off with kill after kill! With all three games super close in score, Will Work For Sets proved they are true Underdog competitors!

Cowen Park Pythons for the win!
The Cowen Park Pythons came off a solid win against Will Work for Sets in the semis, to play against the 5-man team of Hot Cheetos and Takis who had just pulled out a 2-0 win over Endless Summer. Despite Elise being gone from the Hot Cheetos roster, the team had managed a great game against Endless Summer only to face the undefeated Pythons. The beginning of the first game looked good for Cheetos, with a back and forth battle for the first 10 points. At that point the Pythons really turned up their game though and pulled ahead with a great serving streak. A strong block by Kyle of the Hot Cheetos gave them a couple more points, but the Pythons kept their lead to finish out the first game 25-13.

The 2nd game was even more back and forth, with the teams within 4 points of each other the entire time. Great hits by Ben of Hot Cheetos and Kyle of the Pythons put each team on the score board. A huge block by the Cheetos put them ahead by two points at 12-10 and gave them an energy boost. Pythons tied it up at 13-13 with a great kill by Gloria. The two teams battled it out until the very end when Hot Cheetos managed to break the Pythons winning streak with a 25-23 victory!

Tied going into the 3rd game, tension was high. But the Pythons brought their A-game to this last set. They pulled ahead at the beginning of the game and stayed there, with aces and huge hits. Hot Cheetos put up an impressive fight but ended up being overpowered by the unstoppable Pythons. Congratulations to the Pythons for a fantastic season!
