This week was the final week of playoffs. Monkey Lovers came into playoffs as the Number 1 ranked team and were not going down without a fight! Indecisive was ready though as they were seeded second! As the championship match started everyone could tell it was going to be a close one! Rallies were long, hits were strong, and blocks were in your face! Each rally was so close that teams were diving for every ball just to keep it alive. It was going to be a fight to the finish as whoever was scrappier was going to take it all!
Lane from Indecisive was all over the court tonight and did a great job of keeping the ball alive for her team to put away a kill! Will and Nick were key blockers forcing the Monkey Lovers to scramble to keep the play alive. While West (their star scrappy player extraordinaire) and the Monkey Lovers put up a great fight Indecisive was able to take the match in the third after coming back from behind at a key time! This will not be the last time these two teams battle it out on the court and I'm sure the next time will be just as exciting! Congrats Indecisive on a great victory!

The last championship game of the night came at the last possible time slot! While some teams may be tired and others find the 9:30 game just too late, Cold Turkeys and Dig This… were ready to play! Neither team lacked energy going into the finals!
All season Cold Turkeys used each game as a learning experience to better their team in the knowledge of volleyball and team cohesion! This team was ready for a championship and wanted to truly earn it!
During the championship Cold Turkeys was on their game with great communication and serves galore! Once the team got going there was no stopping them! Their passing was spot on and setting was a team effort! Congrats Cold Turkeys on your championship!

Bump, Set, Yikes had some ups and downs this season with some injuries and players out of town causing their team to have to adjust all season! Making it through the first week of playoffs with only 4 players BSY was ready for the second week as they would have 5 players to fill the court! 509 Block Party put up quite a fight while they only had 4 players! The court seemed big with both teams being down players but that didn’t stop either team from hustling and keeping the ball alive!
Brian and Becca helped BSY squeak to victory with a 4 point win in the first game a 2 point win in the second to claim the match! What a close one! All members of the BSY crew were an integral part of this win and they are ready to take on the late fall season and defend their title! Congrats Bump, Set, Yikes!
