In th rematch of the championship game from last year's Saturday league, Jessica broke up a tie game in the bottom of the sixth inning with a bases loaded single up the middle. When asked about how she handled the pressure of the game resting directly on her shoulders, Jessica answered, "A good friend of mine used to say, 'This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.' Think about that for a while." We also heard something about a live rooster during one of the mound conferences, but let's just not get into that one.

Cameron hit for the cycle and helped move his team past the Isatopes. The final score was 19-4.

In the last game of the season Jonathan Nedved single-handedly saved the season for the Springfield Isotopes. Not only did he pitch a gem against team EPA, he also had an in-the-park HR in the bottom of the 6th inning to tie the game. With the tie, the Isotopes are almost guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Great job Jonathan.

On a day with sweltering heat, Robert was cool as ice. Pitching his way through the game, he kept his team in the game and gave them a chance to win. In the bottom of the seventh with a tie ball game, the sun was beating down, hitters were looking straight into it trying to pick up the ball and then out of no where, with one out, Robert made contact. The ball rolled around in the outfield, and before anyone knew what had happened Robert was standing on third base. Two batters later, Robert trotted in and won the game for his team. Congrats Robert and Indiana Jones.

Ryan used both his offense and defense to lead his team to the midcore championship, making several diving and acrobatic catches.
