Colin Hunter and the Pluckers started the season off with a bang (or three) on Thursday. Colin hit the first of 3 back to back to back home runs. The impressive feat helped carry the Pluckers to a 16-11 victory over a strong McKinstry team, setting the tone for big season.

He notched a couple strike outs on the evening and made a great play on a line drive directly back at his face. With the 2 wins, Random Collision secured their place at the top of the standings with a 4-0 record.

Big time pitchers step up in big games, and that's exactly what McKinstry got in Thursday's opening round playoff game. Bri K was stellar on the mound for the 5th seed. She was dealing from the start, keeping hitters of balance all game. Her performance lifted McKinstry to the next round. Unfortunately their run ended against the #1 seed in game 2, but Bri's performance will live on.
