On a warm, mosquito swarming night under the lights of Juanita, Bloodbath faced not only the immense pressure of repeating, but a playoff matchup with the talented "Q" that would test their grit, mental fortitude, and determination.
In a back and forth shoot-out that featured highlights from both squads and 99 combined points, each team tossed a critical 2nd half interception that opened the gates of victory to the opponent. Q's passing and playmaking looked to possibly end the champ's run, as momentum swung Q's way at the end of regulation, and knotting it up at 42-42.
Overtime! Q turned up the heat and grabbed the lead by 7. Bloodbath answered the TD, and made the critical decision: go for 2, Win or Lose… 1 play….
Advancing to the Championship game, where the fresh legs of "The Poi Dogs" would provide a close 1st half. However it was the ladies of Bloodbath, Anita, Ashley, Jonesie and Jordyn, making play after play that would ultimately end with Bloodbath wrapping up its 14th Tuesday Night Crown!
