This weeks player of the week goes to Ben B. for his contributions at the end of a tight game. Going into the bottom of the 7th, Ben and his squad were down and needed some runs to win. It was Ben who came up big with the bases loaded kicking it deep and knocking in 3 runs, and giving his team the eventual win. Great game Ben and way to come up big with the pressure on!

Becky Samelson
Team Patty Mayonnaise
This weeks player of the week goes to Becky Samelson and her excellence on defense at second-base! Becky routinely made tough outs, and was the all*star on her team not allowing opponents safe passage around the bases. Becky made multiple throwing outs hitting runners with precision, and confidence. Great game Becky and keep it up for the season!

Charlie Crowther
Team Patty Mayonnaise
His shirt with a honey badger said it all. Charlie was all over the field. He caught 2 deep balls that I'm sure everyone thought were homeruns. One he caught over his shoulder Willie Mays style. He also had a bunch of nice kicks that brought in 4 runs. Way to play out there Charlie. Honey badger don't care!

Chris Painter
Pupkins
The game was back and forth all game long. Going into the bottom of the seventh Chris' team was down multiple runs but they rallied. Chris came up and had the game winning kick for the Pupkins.

Brian Gustafson
A Swift Kick in the Grass
Brian played like a major league player at 2B recording many put outs and turning a double play to boot. Would get my vote for Hall of Fame at the end of his career just based on his defense... BUT he was also pretty good at the plate!

Kristin Phillips
Finish-Hers
Kristin led the Finish-Hers to a sweep of the double header last night. In game one she made a huge catch on a kick that would have led to multiple bases. She also bunted for multiple base hits and scored off of said hits. In game two she came up big with a two run homerun to add to the Finish-Hers big win to finish the night.

Kellen Cheney
Just Kickin' It
Kellen led Just Kickin' It to a double header victory on Monday with his all out defense and sharp mental game. Just Kickin' It won two close games thanks to Kellen's heads up double plays in the field. At pitcher, he also used his quick feet and strong arm to stop bunts from becoming base hits. He stopped a few other kicks from being big hits by stopping line drives up the middle.

Flavia Leite
Where My Pitch's At?
Flavia had her best day of the season on the day of a double header win for Where My Pitches At? She helped add to the two leads that her team held last night with multiple base hits, and not just bunts. She also had huge hustle on the base paths and wasn't afraid to go for the extra base. Great job, Flavia!

Steve Balensiefer
Das Boot
With his team down by one run in the middle of the game, Steve came up and took the lead with a two run kick. He changed the entire momentum of the game as Das Boot continued their rally. Steve also helped his team with his great play at first base all game. Good work, Steve!

Don Hanley
Pupkins
Going into the final inning, the Pupkins were behind, but rallied to give the game an exciting finish. They were able to tie it up, but it was Don Hanley who came up big with the 2 RBI kick to put his team ahead. It was that momentum change that gave his team the advantage. Great comeback, Pupkins! And great work, Don!
Tuesday's strong defense gave the Pupkins the boost they needed for their first playoff win. She played a solid first base all game, and even made a double play to gain momentum for the team. She made many other catches at that position, and on offense, always knew when and where to bunt and kick. Great job, Tuesday!
Chris led his team with a 1st inning 3 run HR blast over the outfielder's head. He followed that with a triple and double and you knew when he stepped to the plate that the ball was going to go for a long ride.
He had a solid game on D as well with a couple nice catches and assists, killing all efforts by the opposition to get a good rally going. A complete game all around.
