Steve Degracia
Sparkle Mountain Chupacabras
Steve had a massive kicking game this week. he went 3-4 with a single, double, and an in the park grand slam. For the granny he was flying around the bases, so much so that he almost caught the runner who was 60 feet ahead of him by the time they crossed home plate. This is why doing a couple laps around Ballard before hand turned out to be a good warm up for him. Amazing job Steve and keep up the stellar play.

Trisha Long
Bunt Force Trauma
Bunt Force Trauma held off a valiant 7th innning rally from Rikickulous thanks to a great play by Trisha L. Bunt Force Trauma led the entire way, entering the 7th inning with a 9-2 advantage, but Rikickulous battled back thanks to a grand slam to make it 9-6. They then put runners on 1st and 2nd, all with no outs. The next play saw Trisha make a fantastic catch on a ball deep to left field, and then get the ball in quickly to nail the runner tagging up from 2nd base. The double play killed the rally, and her team retired the next kicker for the final out.

Alex Arpin
Alex smokes three homers
Alex from "Bunt Force" crushed three homers in his teams Tuesday night win, deep to center field. Even his own teammate who switched sides couldn't track them down. Don't listen to the haters Alex, your swing is as pure as the turf field in Ballard.

Richard Broaddus
Rikickulous
Talk about paying attention to the scouting report! Richard seemingly was in the exact correct position EVERY time a ball was kicked his way. No matter how deep or shallow a ball kicked to his outfield position, Richard was already there to make the play. Some of the best players are the best players because they study and prepare for their opponent.
If every athlete paid attention to their opponent the way that Richrd did, the whole brand of sports would be played differently. So good was Richard on this night, many of his teammates blurted out at almost the exact same time... "Richard played really well tonight!"
