Lots of heart and soul went into the finals match between Kiss My Ace and Goose Lightening. Many times players would be spitting sand after an awesome diving save. It was a three game match which shows just how much both teams deserved to be at the top. After each winning their semi-finals match in just two games, they were ready to face off and see who the best team was. With the wind at a near stand and the sun behind the clouds, it was a great night to show off their skills. Game one was the closest of all with a score of 21-19 in favor of Kiss My Ace. Game two went a little south and Goose Lightening pulled out a 21-12 win. Then the third game; I could see the fire in the eyes of both teams. Dig after dig, save after save, both teams were flying everywhere in the hopes of getting the coveted Champs t-shirt. At last a victor was named and the title went to Kiss My Ace!

The championship match between 99 Problems and Morning Missiles was a nail biter. Both teams were jumping and diving all over court to pull out some amazing saves and showing off some amazing power. More often than not I found myself in a state of shock and awe as someone would get the perfect touch on a ball that was destined for failure. It took three games to settle the battle with the third game ending in a score of 23-21. Both 99 Problems and Morning Missiles fought a good fight, but like any battle there has to be a victor and this season the crown went to Morning Missiles.
